Hi! We are class 6! We are kind and slightly crazy, humorous and energetic. As a class, we get on well together, and if a new child joins us, we will look after them and give a warm welcome. As year 6, we think it is important to set an example to the younger children. We are aware that we must carry out our responsibilities to help to ensure the school day runs smoothly.
We love our teachers because they are gentle, caring and always there for us (and they both ‘think’ they are very funny!). Our first topic was World War Two and we really enjoyed learning about this.
Our next topic is called 'All the World's a Stage'. We will be finding out about Shakespeare, his plays, designing our own theatre in DT as well as a world tour! This will help us to learn about other cities and countries and how they differ to ours.
This year, we are excited about competing in sports competitions, going on our residential trip to Charter House and of course our end of year play!
We have the challenge this year of SATs but together we will get through it and keep calm and carry on.Please read our class newsletter to find out what we are learning!
