Our Houses

Our house structure was initiated by the School Council. It has proved a successful means of encouraging good behaviour, positive attitude and a healthy sense of competition within the school.

We have 4 houses, and each has a unique shield designed by the children.

Each house has a house and vice captain.

Children are allocated to a 'house' when they join the school and where possible, we do put siblings together. Children are awarded house points for good work, learning behaviours or following the golden rules, these are added up at the end of each week to give a winning house.

Children also compete on behalf of their house during Sports Day. We also have house days 3 times a year where the children work in their house groups. Year 6 children also run house assemblies for the rest of the school.
